Andaz Xintiandi – Shanghai

I had an overnight layover in Shanghai and decided to stay in Xintiandi, an upscale neighborhood with a mix of new high end hotels and restored historical districts filled with high end boutiques and up scale dining.

I used some Hyatt points to stay at the Andaz Hotel, a trendy hotel, with a mix of tourists and business guests.

One of the restaurants were under renovation so the hotel breakfast was served in the lobby lounge, a small space with low tables not idea for enjoying breakfast. Other than that the hotel was great.

With limited time, I went to explore the surrounding area before checking out. I didn’t have time to stop by the gym and pool.

The lobby, breakfast was a bit crowded at the lobby lounge. Not ideal. IMG_1457IMG_1445IMG_1447

Xintiandi, is an historic area with many restored historic buildings. Many high end shops and restaurants cater to a high end crowd. IMG_1449IMG_1450IMG_1464IMG_1469
